Day 19: A grateful heart...

There's so much that I want to say today, but for once I feel a bit stumped for words.. so I'll let this quote above guide my words "a grateful heart is a magnet for miracles" and try to just share the sentiment of what I'm feeling...

I've tried to write this post 6 times now.. but somehow always not quite knowing what to say or not say, and then wanting to say something but somehow veering off the point resulting in the 6-odd start ups of this post 🙈

One thread that every one of those posts had in common was the immense gratitude I feel in my heart today.. I don't know if you've had the pleasure of experiencing your heart being so full of contentment and joy that it feels like it just wants to burst at the seems and maybe even spill out in the form of tears - but the good kind! Tears of joy. Tears of appreciation and just pure deep gratitude... ( I have to admit here that I had this feeling more than once today, and even shed a good load of those sort of angel tears earlier too!)

For everything. Just everything - family, friends, life, blessings, health, friendship, support, love, joy, peace, kindness, caring, support and so the list carries on...... and even the not so pleasant things which in itself a little blessings and miracles in disguise!

How often do we focus on all the negative that we forget the ease of just being grateful? It's one of the most important things that I base my life on - reminding myself of all the things I have to be grateful for everyday.

Today was such a day - a reminder of these so many little blessings and miracles that bring the cycle to a 360 degree point of deep gratitude resulting in miracles resulting in even deeper gratitude that keeps the cycle flowing and somehow becomes a magnet for even more miracles!

So what are the things you are grateful for?
What makes your heart burst at the seams or makes your eyes sweat a little bit?

Today I'll share 3 things that I'm truly grateful for:

  1. The opportunity to celebrate my brother and his upcoming nuptials which have certainly been put to the test in these times of immense strain and stress, but through little miracles - the day was truly awesome and wow and a true reflection on the amazingness that is Bavi
  2. Family, friends and the community in my home town in East London and further afield in SA and globally where little miracles are created all the time with people just going above and beyond creating a constant stream of little miracles!
  3. The legacy and remembering our forefathers and elders and the sacrifices that were made for us to live the life we're loving- filled with opportunity, love,  abundance and just so many things..
I know it's hard at the moment.  I know we're tired and exhausted and sort of just done with the year, but today,  I invite you to just take a few moments and just ask yourself,

"What am I grateful for?"

Then watch or become aware of little miracles popping into your life just by maintaining this simple practice 🌷✨🌞🦋🙏🤍💕

Take care everyone. Be safe and look after yourselves and loved ones and special ones out there.

Much love always,
Poonam
